The ultrafiltration (UF) system is a high-efficiency membrane separation equipment designed for concentration, purification, desalination and clarification in biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, and biotech industries. It utilizes porous ultrafiltration membranes with precise molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) to selectively separate macromolecules (such as proteins, antibodies, and polysaccharides) from small molecules (solvents, salts, and small peptides) under moderate transmembrane pressure.
Constructed with 316L stainless steel sanitary structure and high-performance polymeric membranes (including PES, PVDF, and regenerated cellulose), the system adopts a low-dead-volume flow path design that complies with ASME BPE and GMP standards. It integrates core modules such as a high-pressure sanitary pump, precision pressure gauge, flow meter, membrane module, backwash/cleaning unit, and automatic control system, ensuring stable operation and reliable separation performance.
The system features adjustable transmembrane pressure and cross-flow velocity, effectively reducing membrane fouling and extending membrane service life. It supports fully automatic operation, including start-up, running, backwashing, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures, with real-time monitoring of key parameters such as pressure, flow rate, and permeate flux. The modular design allows flexible configuration of membrane modules, adapting to different processing scales from lab-scale (10L-100L) to industrial-scale (1000L-10000L).
Widely applied in downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals (monoclonal antibody concentration, recombinant protein purification, vaccine clarification), food industry (dairy protein concentration, juice clarification), and environmental engineering (wastewater treatment), the ultrafiltration system provides a green, efficient, and compliant separation solution, ensuring product quality and process economy.
